How would you describe our church to others? If you had to sum up CLC in a few words, what would they be?
This Sunday is our Annual Meeting and the final week of our prayer series, The Prayer Practice. These two topics align at the perfect time. As we reflect on the past, present, and future of CLC, it’s crucial that we lean into this last prayer practice: Being with God.
Looking ahead to 2025, there will be new energy as we consider bringing on new leadership and possibly a new direction for our congregation. It’s easy to focus on what type of leader we need or which direction we should take. But the better focus is on prayer—on practicing being with God so we can hear from our Heavenly Father. Rather than striving to find the "right" leader, we should first seek to be the right people, prepared for whatever God has in store. If He leads us to someone unexpected, we want to be in a place where we can recognize and receive His guidance.
